Locations
Six regions, and everything inside them we can put a name to: hotels, clubs, motels, a correctional facility, a pawn shop, a record label and a bar whose name is half hidden behind a leaf.
The six are Rockstar's own division — Vice City, Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Mount Kalaga National Park, Grassrivers and Ambrosia — because those are the folders the press screenshots come in. Each one has its own page with every official image of it we have.
Below the regions sit the individual places. A place earns a page here when we can read its name: on a sign, on a neon, on a banner, on a shop front. That rule is stricter than it sounds. A rooftop terrace, a night crossroads, a marina with boats in it — all of those are in the material and none of them gets an address, because "rooftop terrace" is not something anybody types into a search box.
Where a name is only partly legible, the page says which letters we can actually see. Effluvia is the clearest example: seven of its eight letters are readable and the eighth is behind a plant.
