Chip’s Body Shop
A body shop in the Keys with a hand-painted sign reading CHIP'S BODY SHOP, MINOR AND MAJOR REPAIRS.
The sign is painted on board and mounted above the frontage, with the name in red and blue and the strapline beneath. Another painted board beside it reads HAVING A B… and a third carries a whale.
The street in front is the village high street: people walking, a bus, a mobility scooter, an iguana on the tarmac.
A body shop matters more in this series than most businesses, because vehicle modification usually lives in one. Rockstar's own media page separately names a workshop called Rideout Customs, so there may be two.
How to recognise it
- CHIP'S BODY SHOP hand-painted on board
- MINOR AND MAJOR REPAIRS as the strapline
- Adjacent painted boards, one with a whale
- On the Keys village high street
The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the subject occupies 614 by 302 of it. Also in it: the Leonida Keys, Pomazoom (Mobility Scooter), Cruiser, and Rental Shuttle Bus.
What we still do not know
- Whether cars can be modified here
- How it relates to Rideout Customs, named on Rockstar's media page
- Whether it is enterable
- What the whale sign is for
