Hotel Valetta
An art deco hotel in Rockstar's daylight view of Vice City, with its name on the wall in two stacked lines: HOTEL above, VALETTA below.
The building is white, three storeys under a roof terrace, with horizontal banding from the balcony rails. Its name sits on the flat white top of a section between the two wings, in two lines, HOTEL over VALETTA, with a small four-pointed star either side of each word. Below the name that section is terracotta brick, with a strip of glass blocks down its face and a narrow white band down its edge, and in front of it a white stair with solid parapets zigzags down to the ground. The name is not a vertical corner sign, which is what this page said until 20 September 2026.
Balconies run the length of the front on two levels, with clipped ball trees in pots set along the rails, and a row of blue parasols stands on the roof terrace above them. A white stair zigzags down the far end of the building. On the left, loungers and blue parasols stand among palms at the edge of a pool; on the right is a deck with a hot tub, loungers and a closed blue umbrella, and someone standing at the tub. A white lamp post rises in front of the quay wall at the bottom.
The frame is Rockstar’s own daylight overview of Vice City, filed under Places/Vice City. The rest of that frame, with the waterway at the hotel’s rounded end, the road and the bus below it, the basketball courts and the towers behind, is on the Vice City page. That the hotel sits in an establishing shot rather than a scene suggests a fixed landmark rather than a set dressed for one moment.

The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the subject occupies 768 by 648 of it. Also in it: Vice City, a building named Firefly Plaza, and a white transit bus.

These figures come from the dataset, not from the prose above. We measure everything and claim what counts. How we work
What we still do not know
- Whether the hotel is enterable
- Whether rooms can be rented as a save point
- Where on the strip it stands
- Whether it has a role in the story
