Hamlet

The source frame, with Hamlet marked
Trailer 1 · snt-00045 · 0:58.55 · placeholder frame

A neighbourhood named on screen, and named by a stranger: the caption of a livestream reads "Neighborhood watch don't play around in Hamlet".

It arrives as a vertical livestream inside the frame, posted by the handle LuchaLibreFan and marked LIVE. The caption underneath supplies the name, which is the only reason this place is on the site at all.

The street is low-rise and residential: a two-storey block in faded pink with an external staircase and a decorative breeze-block screen, a strip of dry grass, a cracked path and a driveway with a beige 1970s coupe on it.

In the middle of it a woman in a floral housedress and glasses stands facing the camera with something long in each hand. The subject of the clip is her, and the neighbourhood is what she is defending.

How to recognise it

  • Named in a livestream caption, not on a sign
  • Two-storey pink block with an external staircase
  • Decorative breeze-block screen beside the stairs
  • Dry grass, cracked path, a car on the driveway

The frame it comes from

The frame is Trailer 1 at 0:58.55. It is 1920 by 1080, and the subject occupies 624 by 864 of it. Also in it: a beige 70s coupe.

What we still do not know

  • Where Hamlet sits on the map, and whether it is a district or a smaller pocket within one
  • What the woman is holding — the resolution does not settle it
  • Whether the name appears anywhere else in the material
