Stockyard Downtown

A green exit sign at 0:24 of Trailer 1 carrying US route 3, Catalan Blvd and Stockyard Downtown, with EXIT ONLY beneath: a named district and a named street in one frame.

The sign is the standard American exit type, gantry-mounted at night and lit from below: a US route shield reading 3, the street name Catalan Blvd, the district Stockyard Downtown on two lines, and EXIT ONLY on a yellow panel beneath with an arrow between the words. A smaller exit panel sits on top of it and runs off the top edge of the frame, so only the lower half of its number is in shot: EXIT reads, then a 1, then a second digit with a closed lower bowl whose top is outside the picture. The exit number does not resolve. At the left edge of the crop is the edge of a second gantry sign.

The frame is shot from a dark red convertible with a woman in a green sequined dress standing up through the roof, the lit skyline behind her, and the second sign is read on the Kelly County page, where it points to the airport and to Kelly County.

Two names come out of it. Catalan Blvd is a street, and Stockyard Downtown reads as a district, the kind of destination a real exit sign names for where the ramp goes. Rockstar’s product page uses the name too, for two of the Ultimate Edition’s shops: Stock 305, Stockyard’s premier destination for elevated streetwear, and Electric Fang, Stockyard’s most iconic ink bar.

It is one of the few frames we have that give the city’s internal geography rather than its skyline.

A note on this record

On 25 September 2026 the crop was extended up to the top of the frame, so that the exit panel the page describes is in it; the convertible, the woman and the skyline moved into a link to the page that carries them; and a comparison with the way GTA 5 named its districts came out, since GTA 5 also showed district names on screen, in the corner of the picture.
