Dominion Hotel

An art deco hotel with DOMINION HOTEL across the facade, seen in daylight from across the street.

The building is pale, low and horizontal with the banded parapet the strip uses everywhere. The name runs along the top of the frontage in a serif face, spaced out across the full width.

Windows with awnings, a shaded ground-floor walkway and palms in front. It is photographed flat-on, in strong sun, so the lettering is the clearest thing in the frame.

One of several hotels along the same stretch that the material names rather than leaves generic.
