Zekes Gadgets

The name is painted straight onto the yellow wall above the arch, with no board behind it. ZEKES sits over GADGETS in a blocky blue slab face with a dark drop shadow. In front of the words is a blue badge with a light Z on it and a small pointed tab either side.

Below that, strung under the arch, hangs a banner: dark navy at the top, a pale blue wash across the bottom, and WE DO REPAIRS in grey capitals across the middle. The letters carry little contrast over the banner behind them, but at that size they still come apart: the gap between the W and the E, the space before DO, and three gaps inside REPAIRS all fall back to the banner’s own tone. The window below carries more posters, but none of them resolve at full resolution; the wording this page used to quote off the glass has gone.

The frame is at 17:51 of the Extended Look, and the shop is one arched unit in a parade: the pillars at either side of the arch carry on into the next units, Video Forever on the left and Joyería on the right, each on its own page. A red car stands in front of the door with two people inside, its roof cutting across the bottom of the window.

Phones matter in this game — there is a phone with messages, a live stream and a social network — so a shop whose own banner offers repairs is worth more than a background sign. What it sells is another matter. Nothing in the window resolves and the banner names no goods, so the only thing the frame says about the trade is the word GADGETS on the wall.
