Airgator Airboats
AIRGATOR in large weathered capitals across a pale plate behind an airboat seat, with AIRBOAT 09 on a second line beneath it and a smaller word between the two that sits under the letter floor.
The lettering is on a flat, pale plate that rises behind the quilted top of a seat back, in weathered stencil capitals: AIRGATOR runs across the top in large letters, a much smaller word sits right-aligned under it and stays below this site’s letter floor, and AIRBOAT 09 runs along a second line below in spaced capitals large enough to read. Until 23 September 2026 the page counted the small word as read; the second line carries the word at readable size, the small one does not.
Until 27 September this page also put the lettering on the rudder. An airboat’s rudders stand behind its propeller, and the Airboat 09 page, whose crop of the same still shows the propeller blade behind this plate, has it behind the seat. That is where it is.
The 9 has a closed bowl and a straight tail, which is what separates it from an 8; the page said 08 until 20 September. The second line reads like a label for this one boat, and it is how the vehicle page got its title. Whether there is an 01 to 08 as well, nothing in this crop says.
The plate has rounded top corners and is bolted along its edges, with a row of bolt heads under the top and a column down each side. A silver tube runs over the top and down both sides, and on the right-hand tube sits a black ribbed grip. A faint print of leaves and twigs covers the pale paint, and the lower edge is darker. The quilted top of the seat back overlaps the bottom of the plate, cage mesh runs down the left edge of the crop, and palm fronds and blue sky fill the right.
The rest of the still, with three people in mud on the boat, a dead alligator across the boards and a NO TRESPASSING sign on the shed behind, is on the Grassrivers page. A sheriff’s airboat elsewhere in the press pack carries SHERIFF on its bow and is logged on the Airboat 09 page, not here; until 23 September this page had it alongside this boat, which none of the frames we have shows.
How to recognise it
- AIRGATOR in large weathered stencil capitals across the top of the plate
- AIRBOAT 09 on a second line, the 9 with a closed bowl and a straight tail
- A smaller word between the two lines, below the letter floor
- A pale plate with rounded top corners, bolted along its edges and framed by a silver tube with a black grip
- The quilted top of a seat back in front of the plate's lower edge
The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the subject occupies 768 by 530 of it. Also in it: Grassrivers and Airgator Airboat 09.
How this was measured
| Source | Press pack |
|---|---|
| Frame | 3840 × 2160 |
| Crop | 768 × 530 — a small part of the frame |
| Image check | 27 September 2026 — crop checked against the frame |
| Text check | 28 September 2026 — 36 claims read against the image, 9 corrected |
| Read at | the true pixel grid, 1:1 |
| Lettering | Letter height | Contrast | Reads |
|---|---|---|---|
| AIRGATOR | 37 px | — | every character |
| the smaller word right-aligned under AIRGATOR | 12 px | — | no |
| AIRBOAT 09 | 27 px | — | every character |
These figures come from the dataset, not from the prose above. We measure everything and claim what counts. How we work
What we still do not know
- Whether Airgator is a tour operator, a hire company or both
- Whether 09 means a fleet, and how large it is
- What the small word under the name says
- Whether airboats can be hired in-game
- Where the business is based
Also in these frames
Measured in the same frames as the images above, but without a page of their own. Same rule as everywhere else: what the crop carries, with the source and the timecode. The ones whose frame no page shows are collected in the frame.
