How much does GTA 6 cost?

Those are the US figures from Take-Two’s own announcement of 24 June 2026, and they are the same on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar’s product page carries the editions but no prices at all, so the investor release is the primary record here.

The two prices

• Grand Theft Auto VI — $79.99
• Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition — $99.99

There is no third tier and no collector’s edition. For context, $69.99 has been the usual list price for a major new console release this generation, so the standard edition sits ten dollars above it.

Why you may be seeing a different number

Three reasons, and it is worth knowing which one applies to you:

• Your region. Take-Two published dollar prices. Local prices are set per storefront and per market, and Rockstar has not published a table of them. Your own store page is the authority, not us and not an article converting currency.
• The edition. A page quoting $99.99 as “the price of GTA 6” is quoting the Ultimate Edition.
• The $150 story. A widely shared claim about a $150 price tag predates any announcement and was never sourced to Rockstar or Take-Two. It was wrong.

What we do not know

• Local pricing in any currency other than the US dollar.
• Whether the price changes after launch, in either direction.
• Anything about a PC price, because there is no PC version announced.
