Will GTA 6 be on PC?

Short answer

Not on 19 November 2026, and no PC version has been announced at all. There is no date, no store page and no system requirements — only Rockstar's history of bringing GTA to PC later.

This is the flat answer and it has not moved in three years: every piece of official material, from the first trailer to the pre-order announcement, lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and nothing else.

What has actually been said

  • Rockstar has never announced a PC version. Not a date, not a window, not a store page, not a system requirements sheet.
  • Take-Two named the two console platforms in its pre-order announcement of 24 June 2026 and named no third one.
  • Take-Two’s chief executive has been reported as confirming there is no day-one PC launch. We have not been able to read that interview at the source, so treat it as second-hand — though it says the same thing the platform listings already say.

So what about “GTA 6 system requirements”?

There are none. Any table of recommended GPUs and RAM you find for GTA 6 is invented, because the requirements for a PC version of an unannounced PC game cannot exist. That is worth stating plainly: this is one of the most confidently fabricated subjects in the whole pre-launch period.

What precedent suggests, and why that is not an answer

Rockstar has brought its last two flagship games to PC after the console release. Grand Theft Auto V arrived on PC roughly eighteen months after its 2013 console launch; Red Dead Redemption 2 took about thirteen months. Those are facts about the past.

They are not a plan. A pattern with two entries is not a commitment, Rockstar has never said it intends to repeat it, and the gap between those two releases was already shrinking in a way that could go either direction. Anyone giving you a specific 2027 date for a PC version is reasoning from those two numbers and presenting it as news.

What we do not know

  • Whether a PC version exists in any form.
  • Any date, window, or storefront.
  • Any hardware requirement.
  • Whether crossplay would be part of it, since no multiplayer has been announced at all.
