Police boat

Two white centre-console hulls running at dusk behind Jason Duval in the press pack, out of focus. POLICE is on the far one; the console, the arch and the figure at the helm belong to the near one.

The frame is the eighth of the press pack's <a href="/gta6/characters/jason-duval/">Jason Duval</a> stills. He is the subject, in the foreground, and the boats are behind him, out on the water at dusk, so far outside the plane of focus that every edge has gone soft. There are two hulls in the crop, and the earlier version of this page ran them together. They are taken apart here.

The far hull, on the right, is the police boat. It is white, and along its topsides runs the word POLICE in dark capitals, out of focus but letter by letter distinct, with an orange mark before the word and a second, shorter run of lettering further aft that stays a smear. Above it, blue and white lights burn, the kind a light bar throws. That is all this hull gives: a lettered topside and some lights, no bow, no stern, no deck.

The near hull, across the bottom of the crop, is a white centre-console boat seen from its port side, with a dark bottom colour and a high, fine bow. A console with a white pod stands amidships with a light on top of it, an arch rises over the helm, a figure stands at the wheel, and a green navigation light shows on the gunwale. Its own topsides are blank in this light, so whether it is a second police boat or something else is not something the frame settles.

The name others give the marked boat is a police version of the Lurepredator. Half of that we can check: the civilian <a href="/gta6/vehicles/lurepredator-l35p/">Lurepredator</a> is one of the few vehicles on this site whose name we read off its own hull, and it is a white centre-console with an arch over the helm, as the near hull here is. The other half we cannot check, because the lettered hull shows nothing but its lettering. GTA 4 and GTA 5 both called their police boat the Predator, so a police version of a civilian hull is the series' own pattern. The name sits below as an attribution with its counter-argument.

The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 768 by 410 of it. Also in it: Brian's Boat Works & Marina, a single-engine floatplane, and Jason Duval.

• What the police hull looks like beyond its lettering. Neither its bow nor its stern is in the frame.
• The second lettering run aft of POLICE, which is where a model name would sit
• Whether the near hull is a second police boat. Its topsides show nothing.
• Whether the marine unit carries the same Vice-Dale markings as the <a href="/gta6/vehicles/police-helicopter/">police helicopter</a>
• Everything measured: top speed, handling, where it spawns

A note on this record

Rebuilt on 22 September 2026 against the 4K press still, with a reading record on the crop. The page had described one boat that was two. The console, the arch, the figure at the helm and the green navigation light are on the near hull, which carries no lettering we can see; POLICE is on the far hull, of which nothing else is in the frame. The pixel widths that stood in the text have moved to the measurement record. The correction of 20 September, that those widths had been taken from a half-size copy of the still, stands.
