White police SUV

A white police SUV coming head-on through standing swamp water in the Grassrivers press stills, spray off both front wheels, a blue lamp on the roof and a red one inside the windscreen.

The vehicle comes straight at the camera through shallow water in the fourth of the press pack's <a href="/gta6/locations/grassrivers/">Grassrivers</a> stills, the same frame that holds the <a href="/gta6/vehicles/police-helicopter/">police helicopter</a> overhead. It is a broad white SUV with an upright nose and a shallow power dome pressed into the bonnet. The grille is a dark mesh with horizontal bars in a pale surround, the headlights are narrow, angular units set high at the outer corners, and the lower bumper carries a wide dark intake with a recess at either end.

Two lamps are lit, and they are not where the page once put them. A blue lamp burns on the roof at the front corner, on the left as we see it, a single low unit rather than a bar across the roof, which is in frame and plain. The red one is inside the car: a short red bar mounted at the top of the windscreen on the passenger side, glowing through the glass. On the front door, below the mirror, sits a dark mark where a department badge belongs; it does not resolve.

Water is coming off both front wheels in sheets, reeds stand across the foreground, and the vehicle sits low in it, so this is a wetland crossing and not a road. The value of the record is as much the setting as the vehicle: marked units run into the Grassrivers, not only on tarmac. A second frame filed here, from the tunnel chase in the Lucia Caminos stills, shows a police vehicle behind the getaway car with a light bar on its roof, too blurred to say whether it is this one; its roofline reads lower.

The name others give it is Police Montagne, on a sixth-generation Ford Explorer pattern, and the nose here fits that donor: the dome in the bonnet, the bar grille, the high narrow lights. GTA 5's marked SUV was the Sheriff SUV on a Declasse Granger, so a police SUV under this name would be new to the series. Nothing in the frame carries the name or the badge, so it sits below as an attribution with its counter-argument.

The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 353 by 270 of it. Also in it: Grassrivers, a pickup truck, and a police helicopter.

A note on this record

Rebuilt on 22 September 2026 against the 4K press still, with a reading record on both crops. Three things did not survive it. The red lamp is not on the roof: it is a bar inside the top of the windscreen, and only the blue lamp is on the roof. The roof is in frame across its width and carries no bar, so the line about the rest of the light bar being outside the picture has gone. And the push bar the page saw under the grille is not there; the dark shape in that place is the bumper's own intake. The correction of 20 September, that a blue lamp burns as well as the red one, stands, with its position put right.
