GTA 6 police & emergency

Eight police and emergency vehicles are on record from official GTA 6 material, seven of them with enough in the frame to hold a page and the eighth on a card below. None of the seven carries a name. Rockstar has not published one for any police vehicle, and no badge, door crest or hull marking in our own frames resolves beyond the word POLICE itself. So they sit below under what is actually visible: a cruiser, a patrol car, the Vicebeach police pickup at the kerb, a pickup with a brush guard, a white SUV wading a wetland, a boat under a purple sky, and an orange cab-over rescue truck coming head-on past a burning car in Trailer 2 at 1:57.93. That last one is the first emergency vehicle here that is not a police vehicle, and the first cab-over heavy truck of any kind. A patrol car caught mid-explosion in the same frame is the one on a card rather than a page: it is a police car in the air, and what the crop describes is the explosion. A ninth record is in the dataset and not on this page. It collects police vehicles we cannot match to any of the pages above: a white car seen from behind at a mural in Trailer 2, and a white SUV tipping over in the same explosion, which that card’s crop takes in.

This hub answers the question people actually ask about police in GTA, which is which vehicles they drive rather than which of them is quickest. Both answers will live here; the first is already as complete as the released footage allows.

Three of those pages carry an identification we did not make. GTABase and the GTA Wiki call the Vicebeach pickup the Bravado Bison 1800, on a Ram 1500 (DT), and the white SUV the Police Montagne, on a sixth-generation Ford Explorer; GTABase alone files the boat as a police version of the Lürepredator L35P, on a Contender 25T or 24S. Each name is on its page as somebody else’s claim, with the source, the date we read it, and what our own frame does and does not support. The boat is the interesting one: the civilian Lürepredator L35P is one of the few vehicles on this site whose name we read letter by letter off its own hull, and the lettered hull in the police still, out of focus under a purple sky, gives us nothing but POLICE. Why none of the three is in a title: every named vehicle, and why.

What is not here yet: pursuit behaviour, wanted-level response, and top speed. Those need the game, not the trailers. GTA 6 launches 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. From launch day every figure here carries its source: the tester, the video, the timecode and the method, checked against the footage before it goes on a page.
