Nobody outside Rockstar has played a GTA 6 mission, so there is no mission list here yet and no walkthrough. This is the address both will live at from Thursday 19 November 2026. Until then, this page holds the one thing that can be said honestly before launch: what Rockstar’s own synopsis gives away, and what the official footage shows of the material missions are made of.
As of 23 September 2026: what Rockstar has said
Rockstar has published one paragraph of plot. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the two playable leads, have always known the deck is stacked against them; an easy score goes wrong; and they end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive
. That is the whole story so far. Rockstar has not named a mission, has not said how many there are, and has not said how the missions are structured or how the game moves between the two leads. Anything more specific than the paragraph above is somebody’s guess.
What the footage shows
The Extended Look and the press screenshots do show the kind of play a mission is made of, without ever calling it a mission. Each of these has its own page with the frame and the timecode:
- A jewellery store robbery in daylight, with the display cases open, two gunmen covering the room and a hostage on the floor, followed out of the door into the getaway.
- The wanted system, drawn in full during ordinary play: a scale of six stars and, under them, icons for what the police know about you.
- Police on foot, a marked pickup at a roadblock and, in the Grassrivers screenshots, a helicopter over a swamp chase.
- Cutting and packing drugs and stealing a car, both shown as things you do with your hands.
- The challenge HUD and the livestream overlay, which suggest that some jobs are scored and watched, without saying by whom.
- Dialogue choices and interaction prompts, the machinery a mission would run on.
None of it comes with a mission name, an objective or a reward. That is the line this site does not cross: a robbery in a trailer is a robbery in a trailer, not “the jewellery store heist mission”, until the game calls it that.
What this page becomes at launch
From 19 November, a list of every mission in story order, written from our own playthrough and nobody else’s. Each mission gets its own page with the characters involved, the objectives as the game states them, the optional requirements if GTA 6 grades missions the way Grand Theft Auto V did, what it unlocks, and the frame it appears in if Rockstar showed it before release. Pages go up as we finish them, each with the date it was played and the build it was played on, and a mission that turns out to have branches gets each branch played, not described from a video.
What we will not do
We will not publish a mission list from a leak, a datamine or a wiki that has not played the game either. We will not rewrite somebody else’s walkthrough. A mission goes on this page when one of us has finished it, and not before.
What we do not know
- How many missions there are, and whether the number is even fixed.
- How the game switches between Jason and Lucia, and whether a mission can be played as either.
- Whether missions are graded, and on what.
- Whether the jewellery store robbery in the Extended Look is a mission, a side job or a demonstration.
- Whether any mission is tied to the story, the clock or a place on the map.
