Press pack · snt-00010 · usable frame · rear-three-quarter · 1190 × 756 px © Rockstar Games The whole frame at 3840 × 2160, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A high-wing floatplane banking over turquoise shallows in the press pack, close enough to count its floats, and our own note about it was wrong until we looked again.

The aircraft is banking left over clear water with a wooded shoreline at the top of the frame, shot from above and behind. It is a high-wing monoplane: the wing sits on top of the fuselage, painted white with a yellow band and a pair of thin black pinstripes near each tip. There is one engine, in the nose, with a polished cowling ring and a yellow cowl, and the propeller is turning hard enough to blur.

Under the fuselage hang two full-length floats on a cage of struts, with a boarding ladder running up from the right-hand float to the cabin door. The tail is conventional: a single fin with a yellow top and a horizontal stabiliser either side of it. The cabin has square side windows and a door aft of the wing strut.

Our own note on this sighting described a twin-engine amphibian with a boom fuselage. That is not what is in the picture. One engine, one fuselage, two floats. The note has been corrected, and the correction is recorded here rather than quietly fixed, because a database is only worth what its errors cost to find.

How to recognise it

  • High wing, white with a yellow band and black pinstripes near the tips
  • One engine in the nose, yellow cowl with a polished ring
  • Two full-length floats on strut cages, ladder up to the cabin door
  • Single fin with a yellow top, conventional tailplane
  • Square cabin windows, door aft of the wing strut

The frame it comes from

The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 1190 by 756 of it. Also in it: the Leonida Keys.

What we still do not know

  • Whether it is an amphibian. We can see floats; we cannot see whether wheels retract into them.
  • The registration. Nothing legible in this frame.
  • What 216 refers to in the name
  • Everything measured: top speed, capacity, price, where it spawns

A note on this record

Corrected on 14 September 2026. The sighting note previously read twin-engine amphibian with a boom fuselage; the frame shows a single-engine floatplane on two floats.
