GTA 6 planes

6 in this class · 0 with a confirmed name

This is the aviation hub, and jets live here too. There is no separate jet page: people type plane and jet in roughly equal numbers, and splitting them would halve one small page twice over. If a real jet class of five or more aircraft turns up after release, it earns its own page then.

Six aircraft are on record from official GTA 6 material with enough in the frame to show you, and since 18 September 2026 all six hold a page. A seventh is in the dataset and not on this page: a silhouette over the city with nothing in it we could measure, so there is no crop to put on a card. None of the six carries a name, because Rockstar has not published one for any aircraft and no registration or badge in our own frames resolves. So they are filed under what the frame shows: a business jet on approach shot from below with the gear down, a single-engine floatplane over the Keys, an airliner, a second floatplane read from its cowling, a business jet on a night apron in the Extended Look at 19:37.29, and a main landing gear hanging in the air over the city in Trailer 2 at 1:59.63. That last one is a part of an aeroplane rather than an aeroplane, and it has an address of its own because of a rule we set down on 18 September 2026: the kind of view decides nothing, only whether the crop is big enough, whether three features in it rule out something else, and whether it belongs to anything already here. A light aircraft cabin at 26:08.33 used to sit here as a detail; it turned out to be the floatplane above, 0.76 seconds earlier in the same shot, so the two are now one page.

Three of those pages carry an identification we did not make. GTABase and the GTA Wiki call the business jet on approach the Buckingham Shamal, on a Learjet 45. The GTA Wiki calls the business jet at night the Buckingham Luxor, and pictures it with two frames from the same shot as ours; GTABase lists a Luxor on the same Learjet 45, with a picture of a different jet. The GTA Wiki calls the single-engine floatplane the Mammoth Dodo, on a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver. All three names are on their pages as somebody else’s claim, with the source and the date we read it, and with the objection attached: the Shamal and the Luxor share a donor, so neither jet’s frames can tell the two apart, and nothing written on the floatplane says Dodo. See every named vehicle, and why.

Helicopters are not here. They are a different vehicle and a different question, and they have their own hub.

No top speed yet: console builds do not expose the handling data that would settle it, and no PC version has been announced. GTA 6 launches 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. From launch day every figure here carries its source: the tester, the video, the timecode and the method, checked against the footage before it goes on a page, and this page becomes the ranking.
