Press pack · snt-00004 · placeholder frame · rear-three-quarter · 557 × 356 px © Rockstar Games The whole frame at 3840 × 2160, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A pickup raised onto enormous tyres, parked under red and green neon that makes its paint impossible to name, which is the most interesting thing about the crop.

The body is a square-cab pickup with a short bed, the shape of an early nineties truck: rectangular headlights, a flat grille, upright glass and a plain tailgate. It sits absurdly high on four enormous knobbly tyres with polished wheels, with the axles and suspension fully exposed beneath it.

The lighting is what makes the crop awkward. The scene is lit red from the left and washed green across the middle, so the truck's own colour cannot be read; a paler band along the flank suggests two-tone paint and that is as far as it goes. The rear plate is in frame and is not legible.

Behind it a doorway glows red with a figure standing in it, bollards stand along the kerb, and the ground is wet.

How to recognise it

  • Square-cab pickup body with a short bed and a plain tailgate
  • Rectangular headlights, flat grille, upright glass
  • Four oversized knobbly tyres on polished wheels, axles fully exposed
  • A paler band along the flank suggesting two-tone paint
  • Lit red and green by neon, so the true colour is unreadable

The frame it comes from

The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 557 by 356 of it. Also in it: Delights Cabaret, Port Gellhorn, a black sport sedan, and a red sports coupe.

What we still do not know

  • The paint. The lighting decides what colour it looks, and the lighting is not the truck's.
  • The rear plate
  • Whether the lift is a variant or the stock configuration of this model
  • Everything measured: top speed, handling, price, where it spawns

A note on this record

This record was filed as a buggy on an earlier pass of the contact sheet. It is a lifted pickup, and it was corrected before this page was written.
