Ambrosia
Inland and industrial: a motorcycle club riding out past a petrol station, refineries burning on the horizon, and a mud party in a field.
Six screenshots, and the motorcycle club runs through three of them. A dozen riders come down the main road past a filling station with their colours on their backs — FINAL CHAPTER, with a skull and a bottom rocker reading AMBROSIA. A club member with an ENFORCER patch stands with a woman holding a revolver, bikes behind them. Election boards reading VOTE ERIN HENSHAW line the verge.
The other three are the landscape. A night overview of industry and highway with smoke stacks lit against the dark. Sunrise over the back country with transmission towers and a fire burning in a field. And a mud party: quads, people standing on the roll bars, a beer can held right at the lens.
Ambrosia is the part of Leonida that is not coastal and not city, and the material photographs it as a place with its own institutions — a club, a sheriff's office, a raceway, an election.
How to recognise it
- A motorcycle club with FINAL CHAPTER colours and an AMBROSIA bottom rocker
- An ENFORCER patch on a club member's vest
- VOTE ERIN HENSHAW election boards on the verge
- Refineries and transmission towers against the sky
- A mud party with quads and people on the roll bars
The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 3840 by 2160 of it.
What we still do not know
- What Final Chapter MC's role in the story is
- Who Erin Henshaw is and whether the election matters
- Whether the refineries are enterable
- How Ambrosia connects to Kelly and Dale counties, which are signposted elsewhere
