We think this is the Vapid Dominator
A word of about nine characters runs across the speedometer dial just above the needle's hub, up to the chrome ring. On the 4K master its letters are far under this site's letter floor, so it is not read: the guess rests on the character count and the word shape alone. Dominator is an existing Vapid nameplate of the right length, and the dash suits a muscle coupe. That is a hypothesis with one leg, and the page says so.
What supports it
- Carbon trim behind analog dials, the speedometer above the steering column and small gauges in the middle of the dash: that is how the GTA Wiki describes the interior the Dominator took in GTA 5's enhanced version, with four small gauges there where this dash has two.
- The character count and the outline of the dial word fit DOMINATOR; nothing in it is read.
- Rockstar itself uses Dominator as a live Vapid nameplate in GTA 6: the Ultimate Edition includes a '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, named in the alt text and the filenames on rockstargames.com/VI (read 17 September 2026). That does not confirm the dial, but it does mean the word we are reading exists in this game.
What does not
- Letters this small do not come apart on the true pixel grid; any word of that length fits the outline, and its right end meets the chrome ring, so the count is a minimum.
- No exterior in the frame that shows this interior, so nothing to compare with the Dominator body.
- The same wiki says that interior is widely used on other muscle cars in GTA 5, so the dash points to the class more than to the car.
- We could not resolve the dial character by character, and the crop is already at full press-pack resolution, so it will not get sharper.
- No badge, tailgate or pickup prompt for this car appears anywhere in the official material.
- That Dominator is a different car. The '67 Buggy is a lifted off-road conversion of a sixties muscle coupe; our crop is a modern dashboard with a touchscreen menu. So the nameplate exists, and this is not that vehicle.

The best interior in the frames we have: past the driver's right arm, a dash with two round vents in chrome rings, two auxiliary gauges between them, a touchscreen with two rows of labelled tiles, and a speedometer with a word on its face that sits far under this site's letter floor.
The camera sits behind the driver and to the right, looking past the driver’s right arm at the dash. The dash is stitched leather over a carbon-weave fascia. Five round units run across it in matching chrome rings: the speedometer at the left, then a round air vent, two small auxiliary gauges side by side, one with an oil-can icon and one with a droplet, and a second round vent at the right. Until 20 September 2026 this page counted four vents; two of the four round units to the right of the speedometer are gauges.
The instrument binnacle holds a large round speedometer with a red needle and a numbered scale, and a column of drive-mode labels to its left. Just above the needle’s hub a word of about nine characters runs across the dial until it meets the chrome ring. Every one of these markings is under this site’s letter floor, the dial word by a wide margin, so none of them is read here; their heights are in the lettering table.
The centre screen is fully rendered: two rows of four tiles, each an icon over a label, with a strip of coloured app icons underneath and a status bar along the top. Beneath the screen sit a row of eight preset buttons and a climate panel with two knobs and a row of small labels. The labels on the screen and on the panel are clear to the eye and still under the floor, so this page describes the layout and does not quote them.
The steering wheel is round with a chrome-ringed centre and a cluster of buttons on the right spoke; the driver’s hands are on it, a braided bracelet in tan and brown on the right wrist. Metal pedals show in the footwell, and a knee in ripped denim fills the bottom corner.
The crop is cut from one of the Ambrosia press stills, a bikini car wash seen from inside the car, and the Ambrosia page carries the whole frame. Along the top of the crop runs a strip of the windscreen, streaked with foam. Nothing in the crop shows the outside of the car.
