A cutaway shuttle bus at a kerb with passengers boarding, silver, battered, and lettered The Gra— before the crop runs out.
The vehicle is a cutaway shuttle: a van cab and nose up front, with a squared passenger body grafted on behind it, a long run of side windows and small hopper vents above them. The paint is silver and thoroughly used, streaked and chalked along the panels.
Lettering runs across the upper body in a dark serif and reads The Gra before the crop ends. We are not going to complete it. Below the window line, someone has added colour: patches of teal, orange and pink graffiti across the lower body and the entry door.
The details that place it are the fittings. A chrome mirror arm carries two heads, the wide entry door is glazed in two tall panels, a red marker light sits at the top front corner, and a chrome-edged tail lamp cluster is mounted at the rear corner. Three passengers are boarding: a woman in a straw hat and purple top, a man in a red shirt and khaki shorts, and a third in a blue floral shirt.
How to recognise it
- Cutaway layout: van cab and nose with a squared passenger body behind
- Long run of side windows with hopper vents above
- The Gra in dark serif on the upper body, running off the crop
- Teal, orange and pink graffiti along the lower body and door
- Twin-head chrome mirror arm, glazed two-panel entry door
The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 1114 by 1037 of it. Also in it: Chip's Body Shop, the Leonida Keys, Pomazoom (Mobility Scooter), and Cruiser.
What we still do not know
- The full name. The crop stops at The Gra.
- Who runs it, and whether it serves a route
- Whether the graffiti is baked into the model or damage state
- Everything measured: top speed, capacity, price, where it spawns
