Dark crew-cab pickup with a red zigzag

A dark crew-cab pickup parked on a petrol-station forecourt in the Extended Look, carrying a red zigzag across both doors and onto the bed. Small in frame, and the graphic is what makes it findable again.

The pickup stands nose-left on the forecourt of a petrol station, behind the canopy pillar nearest the camera, with a price totem beside it carrying the fuel grades and, below them, FOOD MART and CAR WASH; the station is an Xero, its name on the building behind. The crop is 341 by 153 pixels of a 3840 by 2160 frame, which is 0.63% of it.

It is a crew cab: two doors on this side, then a bed. The top rail of the bed side runs on from the light beltline of the doors as one continuous line, and above it sits the cab's back window with a high-mounted stop lamp over it. The arches are trimmed in black around five-spoke alloys.

The livery is the point. A red zigzag starts on the front door, runs on over the rear door and finishes on the bed side, in one continuous stroke about the height of the door. On the front door there is an arch-topped outlined emblem, roughly 17 by 29 pixels, with a device inside it, and a line of red text under that. Two more lines sit on the bed side, the upper one pale and the lower one red.

None of that lettering can be read. On the 4K original, with local contrast normalisation and no interpolation, the emblem's interior is a pale mass and both lines on the bed smear into bands — the red-minus-blue channel separates the red line from the paint and still not into characters. So this page says there is writing on the vehicle, and does not say what it says.

A note on this record

Until 22 September 2026 this record was called a dark crossover and filed under SUVs. It was never published under that name: the correction was made while the record was being put through the recognition test for the first time, and what that test found was a bed behind the second door. Two of its old features went with it — the roof rails are the top rail of the bed, and the lighter tan panel behind it is the station pillar standing in front of the vehicle, not part of it.
