Moreland 850 Shotgun

One of only two weapons in GTA 6 whose full name we have, and we have it because the game writes it on the screen: MORELAND 850 SHOTGUN, as a pickup prompt.

At 4:27 in the Extended Look a police officer is down on the floor of an apartment building during a raid. Beside him lies his weapon, and over it floats a prompt: an L1 button glyph followed by MORELAND 850 SHOTGUN in capitals. The player is standing close enough to take it.

That is a different class of evidence from everything else in this section. A weapon identified by its silhouette is a description; a weapon identified by the game's own pickup text is a name, with a manufacturer and a model number. Moreland is a manufacturer we have not seen before in the series.

The weapon itself is partly under the officer and hard to read in this frame. What the prompt settles is the name, not the mechanism: whether the 850 is a pump, a semi-automatic or a break-action is not visible here.

• Whether Moreland makes anything else
• Whether this is police-issue only or available generally
• Its capacity, and whether the 850 refers to a gauge, a model year or nothing at all
