'55 Vapid Stanier

A two-tone fifties sedan, yellow over cream, with VAPID spelled out across the nose and Stanier in script on the front wing. It comes from Rockstar's own studio renders for the Vintage Vice City Pack, not from any trailer.

The car is a full-size two-door hardtop of the middle fifties, photographed from the side on a wet street under neon. The upper body and roof are yellow; below a chrome spear that sweeps down from the rear quarter to the front wheel arch, the flank is cream. A second chrome strip runs along the sill. The windscreen wraps around into the A-pillar, the door glass is frameless at the top, and there is a thin chrome gutter along the roof edge.

The nose carries a wide mesh grille between two large round headlamps in chrome bezels, with heavy bumper over-riders below. VAPID is spelled out in spaced block letters across the bonnet lip, and a small badge sits beside it. On the front wing, behind the wheel arch, Stanier is written in a joined-up script. Both read on the true pixel grid, which is why this page does not rest on the file name alone, and the file name carries the same two words.

The wheels wear whitewall tyres and full chrome covers with a raised spinner in the centre. A round chrome mirror sits on a stalk on the door, and two people are in the front seats, a man at the wheel and a woman beside him. The other renders in the bundle show a tall upright fin at the tail with a single round lamp at its top, lit red at night, and a bench interior in pale trim.

Stanier is the Vapid saloon the series has used for its police cruisers and taxis since GTA 4, on a Crown Victoria pattern; the '55 in Rockstar's name puts this one forty years before that, on the car the nameplate is imagined to descend from. This is the one named vehicle in this database that a standard-edition buyer can also get, through the Vintage Vice City Pack.

What we know

This car belongs to a different bundle from the other three. Rockstar’s media page files its four renders under Vintage Vice City Pack, with every file prefixed VINTAGE_VICE_CITY_PACK_, and the Vintage Vice City Pack is not an edition: it is the bonus that goes to every pre-order and, in Rockstar’s own wording, to every purchase made before 20 November 2026.

That makes the Stanier the one named vehicle in this database that a standard-edition buyer can also get, as long as they buy inside that window. What Rockstar has never said is what else is in the pack, or whether the pack returns afterwards.

• We have not seen this car in either trailer, in the Extended Look or in the press screenshots. Everything on this page comes from four studio renders on Rockstar's own site, made for a pre-order pack, so we cannot say how it looks or behaves in the game itself.
• Whether the two-tone paint is the only scheme or one of several
• Whether it is a bonus vehicle only, or the pack livery of a car that also spawns in traffic
• The donor car. The proportions and the wraparound screen read as a mid-fifties American saloon, and we are not narrowing it further from renders
• Everything measured: top speed, acceleration, handling, price, where it spawns

A note on this record

Rebuilt on 22 September 2026 against the 4K renders, with a reading record on both crops. One correction: the car in the main render is a two-door hardtop, not a four-door; there is one long door with frameless glass on the visible side. VAPID across the bonnet lip and Stanier in script on the wing both read in full, and the rest of the page holds with them.
