Belt-fed machine gun

A belt-fed machine gun lying on the counter in the Ammu-Nation commercial — the first weapon of its class in the official material, where the other eleven are rifles, shotguns and handguns.

It lies flat on the glass counter with the barrel pointing left, directly in front of the presenter, and the camera is far enough back that the whole weapon is in the frame.

The receiver is long and squared, with a carrying handle and a rail-mounted optic on top, a bipod folded under the muzzle end, and a perforated barrel shroud. A green ammunition box sits against the right-hand side, the size and shape used for linked belts.

Next to it on the counter is a red tray of what appear to be boxed cartridges.

The frame is Trailer 2 at 2:11.87. It is 1920 by 1080, and the subject occupies 346 by 103 of it. Also in it: Ammu-Nation and Phil's Ammu-Nation.

What we still do not know

• The name and the manufacturer
• Whether it is usable in play or set dressing in a commercial
• Which real machine gun it is drawn from — the crop is 346 pixels wide, which is enough for the silhouette and not for the markings
