Classic pickup

The cab is closed, not open: it has a solid roof, an open rear window, and a high-mounted brake light on the back of it. Behind the cab a spare wheel stands upright in the bed against the bulkhead, and a hoop runs across the front of the bed.

The bed is short and straight-sided. Round red tail lamps sit at its rear corners, and the tailgate carries raised capitals in the body colour: on the true pixel grid the first three, C, A and N, separate, and what follows does not. The tyres are chunky off-road covers on wheels whose centres read rust-orange in this light.

Three letters are enough for a hypothesis and not for a name. Canis is the series’ Jeep stand-in, GTA 5’s Mesa and Bodhi both carried the badge, and a short-bed off-roader with a spare standing in the bed is exactly that line. The page carries it as a reading of three letters with the counter-argument beside it, not as a name, and the address stays descriptive until the rest of the word shows.

A note on this record

Corrected on 20 September 2026 against the 4K press still. Two things on this page were simply wrong. The cab is not open: it has a roof, a rear window and a brake light on the back of it, and what this page called a roll bar behind the seats is a hoop at the front of the bed. The spare wheel is not lying flat on that bar either; it stands upright in the bed. The body colour has been measured rather than named by eye, and the tailgate turns out to carry lettering, which is now an open question rather than a name. On 25 September 2026 the motel sign moved into the link to the page that carries it, since it stands outside this crop, and the figure at the door is no longer called a man: the build and the boots do not say so.
