Detail 3840 × 2073 px
Trailer 1 · snt-00025 · 0:47.53 · usable frame · detail · 3840 × 2073 px © Rockstar Games The whole frame at 3840 × 2160, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A single security-camera feed filling the screen, labelled FRONT DOOR with 09:58:47 burnt in beneath it, showing a shop with an alligator halfway through its open door.

At 0:47 of Trailer 1 the screen becomes one camera feed, filling the frame, with FRONT DOOR in the top left corner and 09:58:47 under it, burnt in the way real CCTV writes it, in a grainy, washed-out image with the scan lines of a monitor.

What the camera is watching is a convenience store: a counter with pastries under glass and someone in a green shirt behind it, a coffee station, a rack of snacks and magazines with a man in a red shirt and cap beside it, a lottery stand by the door, tables against the far wall, and four people on the forecourt outside the glass, with a blue pickup beyond them.

Halfway through the open door is an alligator, up on its legs, its head and front legs on the mat inside and the rest of it still in the doorway. Inside the shop nobody has turned towards it; the four people on the forecourt stand facing the doorway it is in. Until 27 September 2026 this page had it walking in and the timestamp running, and had the pickup parked: a still shows a posture, one time and a vehicle, not the movement or the stop.

Until 22 September 2026 this page quoted a slogan off the lottery stand. On the true pixel grid those lines sit under this site’s floor for lettering and the letters never separate; the phrase assembled itself on a reduced view, which is exactly what this site’s floor for lettering is there to stop. The stand is a lottery stand by its shape and colours. What it says is not read here.

None of the frames we have shows a camera being disabled or footage being taken. What they do establish is that the game models the feed rather than implying it: the label and the timestamp are drawn, not suggested, and the feed is a shot in its own right rather than a screen glimpsed in a corner.

The Extended Look adds the in-world side of the same system. At 17:03 a small sign hangs on a rendered wall, with a head of dark curly hair in front of its right half: WARNING in blue capitals, then three lines that start WE OPERAT, CAME and THI before the hair covers the rest. The lines are not read to their ends here; what the sign is for is plain enough from the word that is. It is the first notice in this material that tells the player a place is watched, rather than showing the feed.

How to recognise it

  • One camera feed filling the screen, not a grid
  • FRONT DOOR in the top left corner, with 09:58:47 burnt in beneath it
  • A convenience store interior: pastry counter, snack rack, lottery stand by the door
  • An alligator halfway through the open door, head first into the shop
  • A WARNING sign on a wall at 17:03 of the Extended Look, its lines about cameras half hidden behind a head of curly hair

The frame it comes from

The frame is Trailer 1 at 0:47.53. It is 3840 by 2160, and the subject occupies 3840 by 2073 of it.

How this was measured

Source Trailer 1, 0:47.53
Frame 3840 × 2160
Crop 3840 × 2073 — most of the frame
Image check 27 September 2026 — crop checked against the frame
Text check 28 September 2026 — 27 claims read against the image, 6 corrected
Read at the true pixel grid, 1:1
Lettering Letter height Contrast Reads
FRONT DOOR 55 px — every character
09:58:47 55 px — every character
the lottery stand by the door 19 px — no
WARNING 45 px — every character
the three lines under WARNING: WE OPERAT, CAME and THI, the rest behind the hair in front of the sign 30 px — in part

These figures come from the dataset, not from the prose above. We measure everything and claim what counts. How we work

What we still do not know

  • Whether cameras can be disabled, looped or avoided
  • Whether being seen on one affects the wanted system
  • Whether the footage is something a mission asks you to take
  • How many buildings have them
