Stainless pistol

The source frame, with Stainless pistol marked
Press pack · snt-00044 · usable frame

The sharpest weapon image in the whole press pack: a stainless pistol in close-up with loose cartridges beside it, and a ported barrel that says somebody modified it.

The pistol fills the upper left of a 4K screenshot. The finish is bright stainless, the grips are checkered and dark, and the frame is a single-stack pattern in the 1911 family: a slide-mounted safety, a beavertail, a curved trigger guard. Four brass cartridges lie loose on the table beneath it.

The detail worth pulling out is the barrel. There are cuts along the top of it near the muzzle — porting or a compensator, machined rather than bolted on. That is a modification, and it is one of the two clearest pieces of evidence in the official material that weapons in GTA 6 can be changed.

Behind the pistol Jason sits at the table in a LEONIDA tank top with a knife and money in front of him. The staging is somebody's kitchen table, not an armoury.

How to recognise it

  • Bright stainless finish, checkered dark grips
  • 1911-family single-stack pattern: slide safety, beavertail
  • Cuts along the top of the barrel near the muzzle — porting or a compensator
  • Four loose brass cartridges on the table
  • Photographed at a kitchen table, with a knife and cash

The frame it comes from

The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 1843 by 1642 of it. Also in it: Jason Duval.

What we still do not know

  • Whether the porting is a fitted modification or part of the base weapon
  • Its in-game name
  • Whether this is the same pistol Jason carries in other frames
  • Its calibre — the loose rounds are visible but not readable
