Pawn & Gun

A shop front advertising both halves of its trade: a pawn shop and a gun shop under one sign.

The frontage carries the two words on a board above the windows, with the glass below covered in smaller offers. It is the standard American strip-mall unit: flat canopy, glazed front, parking directly outside.

A pawn shop that also sells firearms is a specific and real combination in parts of the United States, and it is the second gun-selling business in the material after the one carrying the Shrewsbury name.

Whether the two are the same business photographed twice, the images do not settle.
