Aircraft landing gear

Name not confirmed

Rockstar has not named this vehicle

So we describe it by what is actually visible in the footage. We do not invent a name to fill the gap.

When the real name is confirmed, this page moves to that name and this address keeps working.

Trailer 2 · snt-00041 · 1:59.63 · usable frame · detail · 1144 × 788 px © Rockstar Games The frame at 3840 × 1728, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. It is delivered inside a 3840 × 2160 container and we have trimmed the letterbox, which is packaging rather than picture. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A main landing gear leg hanging in the air with the city a long way below it, and two people fighting on the wing beside it. Of the aeroplane itself we get a riveted panel of its own skin and nothing more.

A main landing gear leg, down and locked, photographed in flight from a camera standing on the aircraft's own wing. The leg carries two wheels side by side, not one, and a second leg stands further outboard of it at the right of the frame.

The near wheel's face is a ring of vent slots around a centre with bolt heads. What sits between the two wheels is a bright bracket and the chrome piston of the oleo; the stack of brake discs this page described until 23 September 2026 is not something the crop shows. The oleo strut has a visible shoulder and is braced by a second member running down to the axle.

Across the bottom left of the crop runs a riveted panel of the aircraft's skin, grey-green, which is what the camera stands on. Red lettering on that surface lies below the crop's lower edge, in the same frame, and does not resolve. Beyond the gear there is cloud, and through it the towers of a city.

How to recognise it

  • Two wheels side by side on the near gear leg, down and locked in flight
  • A second gear leg further outboard at the right of the frame
  • A vented wheel face with bolt heads on the near hub
  • Oleo strut with a visible shoulder, braced by a second member
  • A riveted grey-green panel of the aircraft's skin under the camera; red lettering on it lies below the crop
  • Cloud beyond the gear and city towers through it

The frame it comes from

The frame is Trailer 2 at 1:59.63. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 1144 by 788 of it.

These figures come from the dataset, not from the prose above. We measure everything and claim what counts. How we work

What we still do not know

  • The aeroplane. Every part of it that would name it – fuselage, wing, engine, tail, livery – is outside this shot.
  • Whether it is the same aircraft as any of the other aeroplanes on this site. None of them is shown with its gear down at this range, so there is nothing to compare.
  • What the two figures are doing on the wing, and whose aircraft they are on
  • Everything measured: top speed, handling, where it spawns
