Floatplane

Name not confirmed

Rockstar has not named this vehicle

So we describe it by what is actually visible in the footage. We do not invent a name to fill the gap.

When the real name is confirmed, this page moves to that name and this address keeps working.

Extended Look · snt-00190 · 26:07.57 · placeholder frame · detail · 1267 × 929 px © Rockstar Games The whole frame at 1920 × 1080, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A radial engine in a blue cowling, photographed close enough to count the cylinders, with a float in the water below and mangrove behind.

The camera sits just off the nose, low and close, so the engine fills most of the frame. Behind it the wing runs out of shot to the left and the water and mangrove fill the background.

The engine is a radial. The cowling is painted mid-blue with a polished ring at the front, and the cylinder heads stand out around the hub with their cooling fins visible. Nine are countable in this view.

Below the engine a float sits in the water with a dark walkway strip along its top, which is what makes this a floatplane rather than a wheeled aircraft parked at the water's edge.

How to recognise it

  • Radial engine, nine cylinder heads visible around the hub
  • Mid-blue cowling with a polished front ring
  • White and blue wing above the engine
  • Float in the water with a dark walkway strip
  • Mangrove shoreline behind

The frame it comes from

What we still do not know

  • The name and the manufacturer
  • The whole airframe — this crop is engine and float only
  • Whether it is flyable or scenery
  • Everything measured
