Car meets

The source frame, with Car meets marked
An open lot at 26:06.08 with wrapped cars side by side: the black HAWX four-door nearest, a dazzle-wrapped car and a car with green graffiti lettering behind it, people standing between them, a car trailer with raised ramps behind a pickup further back, and white smoke behind the row

Extended Look · snt-00182 · 26:06.08 · usable frame · exterior · 2611 × 972 px © Rockstar Games The whole frame at 3840 × 2160, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A parking-lot car meet: wrapped and modified cars side by side in a row and a crowd standing between them, with no car in a ring of its own smoke, which is what separates it from the street takeovers elsewhere in the material.

The cars stand side by side on an open lot, with people standing between them. The two nearest face out towards the camera; the third stands side-on, and the cars further back show their tails. Nobody is gathered round one in a ring. A white cloud of smoke hangs behind the row at the back, and the crop does not show where it comes from.

Three vehicles are readable at the front of the row. The nearest is a black saloon in full wrap livery with HAWX along the window band and MANOR across the bonnet. Behind it stands a car in a black and white dazzle wrap with blue and red accents, and behind that a dark flank carrying green graffiti lettering. Until 23 September 2026 this page carried the band as HANX and the bonnet as MANA; the check of 20 September had already read HAWX, and the text now says so.

Further back the lot continues with more cars and people: a red car and a pale car showing their tail lights, a car with a tall rear wing, a car trailer with its ramps raised, hitched behind a grey pickup, and the lower part of a white truck beyond them. At the left two people sit on a low wall. At the right end of the row three men stand together: one in a white striped shirt with a sports bottle in his hand, one in a teal sports shirt with a large 9 on the back, and one in a black T-shirt with a round blue badge on the chest. The name above the 9 and the lettering on the badge are both below the height this site reads.

Grand Theft Auto Online already has a car meet: the LS Car Meet, added in the Los Santos Tuners update of 2021, is an indoor venue in the basement of a disused warehouse in Cypress Flats. This one is outdoors, in daylight, on an open lot at 26:06 of the Extended Look, and nothing in the frame says whether it is a place you go back to or a scene that happens once. The version with smoke on the tarmac and a ring of people round a car is on the street takeovers page.

How to recognise it

  • Modified cars side by side in a row
  • Wrap liveries rather than plain paint
  • A crowd standing between the cars rather than around them
  • White smoke behind the row
  • A car trailer with its ramps raised behind a pickup, further back on the lot

What we still do not know

  • Whether meets are a repeatable activity or a single scripted scene
  • Whether the cars are player-owned or set dressing
  • How this relates to the street takeovers seen elsewhere, with smoke on the tarmac and a crowd in a ring round a car
