Riding a jet ski

Three jet skis running a waterway towards a low sun with the Vice City skyline ahead, and a minimap in the corner, so this is being driven, not watched.

The Extended Look frame, at 17:25, is taken low and behind. One rider is close in the channel on a red and black ski, a second ahead of them and a third further out to the right, all throwing spray. The sun is low and directly ahead and the skyline stands on the horizon, towers to the left and right of it. The left bank carries a large house with a red parasol over its terrace, palms and a seawall faced with rocks, then a jetty with a white motor yacht moored at it; to the right the water opens out past a channel marker and two motorboats to a far shore. It is a built-up waterway, not a wild one.

The minimap in the bottom left corner is the detail that matters. It means the camera is the player’s camera: this is a jet ski being ridden, not a cutscene of somebody else riding one.

Jet skis were in GTA 5 as the Seashark, a vehicle you found at docks and beaches and rode like any other. Three of them running together in gameplay footage suggests they are no rarity here either. The rider nearest the camera has her hair up and wears a bikini top and denim shorts, and a thin jet of water squirts up from the stern of her ski, like the cooling stream on a real one.

A note on this record

Until 22 September 2026 this page called the waterway a mangrove channel, put a wooded spit on the right bank and cited a third-party count of jet ski models; the banks are built up, the right side is open water and a marker, and the count is not ours to make.
