A red squarebody pickup at close range at the left edge of the frame, close enough that its far side runs off the picture; the crop takes in the near headlight, the bonnet and the cab. The driver sits behind the windscreen in round sunglasses, one hand on the pale rim of the wheel; the other side of the wheel runs out of the frame.

Along the top of the bonnet and the wing the red turns pale and pinkish, in a band where the panels turn flat towards the sky; below it, on the face of the bonnet and on the wing, the red is strong. The colour in the band was measured for this page and the figures are in its image check. Whether the band is paint that has faded or the bright sky reflected in the flat of the panels, a still cannot settle; until 26 September this page called it faded and chalky.

The near headlight is round and sits in a square chrome bezel, with horizontally slatted grille panels either side of it, and the chrome front bumper below is scuffed, with rust along its top edge and round a recessed panel in the middle. A small white street sign stands beside the cab at the right, its lettering under this site’s letter floor.

Behind the cab the trees are dense and green, the road surface at the bottom right is dry tarmac in daylight, and the tyre at the foot of the crop shows no knobbly blocks. The frame is the Extended Look at 6:09.30.
