Nagasaki Dinghy

A rigid-hulled inflatable running a fishing party out in a press still, shot from above: grey tubes, a hard top over the console, and two outboards on the transom.

The boat is photographed from above and slightly astern, running in green water with a wake behind it. It is a rigid-hulled inflatable: a solid white hull with a grey inflatable collar wrapped around the sheer, tapering to a point at the bow and ending in two tails at the transom.

Amidships there is a console with a low windscreen and a hard top on four posts shading it. Two outboards are mounted on the transom, both with dark cowlings. Four people are aboard: one standing right forward with a rod, one seated in a straw hat and orange shorts, one in a red top at the console and one in a bright green long-sleeved top on the aft bench. Grab rails and moulded seating run down the inside of the hull.

Nothing on the boat carries a legible name. The Nagasaki badge on this record comes from the published vehicle lists rather than from anything readable in our own frame.
