Weapons
Compensated pistol
A pistol with a compensator fitted to the barrel, held low by Lucia in a teal-lit stairwell. The clearest single piece of evidence that weapons can be modified.
The pistol is in her right hand, pointed down, and the frame catches it from below. Ahead of the slide sits a separate block with horizontal cuts across it — a compensator, fitted rather than machined into the barrel. It is a different shape from the porting on the stainless pistol elsewhere in the material.
The rest of the weapon is dark and plain: a straight slide, a squared trigger guard, a double-stack grip. It reads as a service pistol with an accessory on the front.
Two pistols in the official material carry barrel work, done two different ways. That is worth more than either on its own: it suggests a system with options rather than one pre-modified prop.
How to recognise it
- A separate compensator block ahead of the slide, with horizontal cuts
- Fitted, not machined — a different solution from the stainless pistol's porting
- Dark finish, straight slide, double-stack grip
- Held low in Lucia's right hand in a teal-lit stairwell
The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 691 by 648 of it. Also in it: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
What we still do not know
- Where weapons are modified — a gun shop appears elsewhere in the material
- Whether a compensator changes handling or is cosmetic
- Its in-game name
- What else can be fitted: the AR-pattern rifles carry optics and foregrips
