Break-action shotgun

The weapon is held muzzle-up in front of the shoulder in the sixth Grassrivers still, and the muzzle itself is above the top of the frame. The action is closed, not broken open, and nothing on it slides or feeds: there is no pump and no box magazine, and a cross pin sits at the front of the receiver where a break action hinges. The receiver is two-toned, a pale strip along the top and dark steel below, and down the pale strip runs a vertical line of stamped characters, under this site’s floor for lettering, so it is not read here.

The forend is checkered wood with a pointed rear, the pistol grip behind the trigger guard is checkered too, and the barrels are seen edge-on, so the number of them cannot be counted from this frame. This page was called Double-barrel shotgun until 20 September 2026 and that was more than the image gives; it is now named for what can be seen.

The hand round the grip wears a heavy silver ring, and its index finger lies straight up alongside the trigger guard rather than through it, off the trigger. The man holding it is bearded, in a cap and a camouflage shirt, with a dark ring in his ear, and the timber beams and a post of a shed run behind him, with the branches of a tree out of focus beyond them. Everything about the gun, the wood, the closed break action, the stamped receiver, belongs to a hunting gun rather than a tactical one, which fits where it appears: a shed in Grassrivers.

Whether it is a side-by-side, an over-and-under or a single barrel is exactly what the edge-on angle withholds, and the stamped line on the receiver, which might name the maker, is too small to settle it. GTA Online’s break gun is the Double Barrel Shotgun, added in the Lowriders: Custom Classics update and matched by the GTA Wiki to a short Zabala side-by-side.

A note on this record

Rebuilt on 22 September 2026 against the 4K press still, with a reading record on the crop. Everything about the gun held. One claim was outside the crop and has come out: the alligator strung up in the shed is elsewhere in the still, and the muzzle is above the top of the frame. The stamped mark on the receiver measures a few pixels and stays unread. The rename of 20 September stands. Checked again on 25 September 2026 at 1:1. The index finger does not go through the trigger guard onto the trigger; it lies straight up alongside the guard. The stamped characters sit on the pale strip along the top of the receiver, not low on its side. A top lever does not show, and walnut is a guess at the wood that the picture does not give. The still shows a timber shed, not a swamp. The claim that this is one of two hunting weapons in the official material spoke for other frames and went, The line on the Double Barrel Shotgun has been checked against the GTA Wiki and stays, now placed in GTA Online, where that gun was added.
