The Leonida race circuit

The source frame, with The Leonida race circuit marked
Extended Look · snt-00047 · 18:34.80 · placeholder frame

A dirt track cut through hilly ground, with berms, ruts and rock either side. The off-road course the material uses twice.

The frame is taken low, looking along the track as it curves away between banks. The surface is dry churned dirt, the corners are bermed, and the ground either side rises into scrub and rock.

It is the same landscape the off-road race runs through, with the graffitied grain silos at one end of it. Whether these are the same course or two parts of the same area, the material does not settle.

It is a purpose-shaped track rather than open ground: somebody has graded those berms.

How to recognise it

  • A graded dirt track with bermed corners
  • Dry churned surface with visible ruts
  • Scrub and rock rising either side
  • The same landscape as the off-road race

The frame it comes from

The frame is Extended Look at 18:34.80. It is 1920 by 1080, and the vehicle occupies 1152 by 324 of it. Also in it: a dirt track through rocky hills and a green motocross bike.

What we still do not know

  • Whether this is a permanent course or a route across open ground
  • Whether races run here on a schedule
  • How it relates to the grain silos in the other frame
  • Whether Ambrosia Raceway Park is the same place
