Jet ski

The machine is at the right edge of the frame, running left to right with the camera low and close to the water. The hull is black, with a bright lime green panel along the side broken by a magenta stripe that sweeps up towards the handlebars. The rider is standing rather than seated, weight forward, bare-backed in dark shorts, with both hands on the bars; the crop cuts across the chest and the head is above the frame.

Spray is coming off the stern in a solid sheet, so this is under power rather than idling. Behind it the bay is choppy and blue. A long causeway on piers crosses the background from left to right, and the Vice City towers stand behind that. Waterfront villas with palms line the left-hand shore.

This record collects three sightings of jet skis rather than one machine. Two more come from the Extended Look at 17:25.00, where a group of three riders is out together in front of a row of waterfront houses.

The frame is Trailer 2 at 2:20.03. It is 1920 by 1080, and the vehicle occupies 672 by 324 of it. Also in it: the marina against the skyline.

What we still do not know

• The name, and the manufacturer. Nothing is badged legibly.
• Whether the three sightings are one model or several. The record merges them; the colours differ.
• Whether the graphics are a livery choice
• Everything measured: top speed, handling, price, where it spawns
