Rockstar has not said whether GTA 6 has collectibles at all. This is the address they will live at from Thursday 19 November 2026: every set the game turns out to have, each with a map and a checklist. Until then, this page lists what the official material shows that could point at one, and what a series habit is worth as evidence, which is less than it looks.
As of 23 September 2026
Nothing official. In the trailers, the Extended Look and the press screenshots we have found no counter, no icon and no line of text that names a collectible. One screenshot comes close and is worth being exact about: a man working a metal detector along the sand in front of a lifeguard tower. A detector on a beach suggests something buried to find. The screenshot itself shows a man on a beach with one, and no more than that; whether any of it is yours to do is an open question, and the page about it says so.
The series habit is the other thing people lean on. Grand Theft Auto V hid several sets of objects across its map and tied them to rewards, and the series has had things to find since the hidden packages of Grand Theft Auto III. That is a pattern in Rockstar’s back catalogue, not a statement about GTA 6, and the sets are never the same from one game to the next. It makes collectibles likely. It does not make a single one of them known.
What this page becomes at launch
From 19 November, one page per set. Each holds:
- every location, marked on the map built from the game’s own map screen and described in words for anyone who wants to find it themselves;
- a checklist that remembers what you have ticked in your own browser, without an account and without sending anything to us;
- the reward for the set as the game states it, and whether the set counts towards full completion;
- the date each location was last checked in the release build.
Alongside the sets comes a completion tracker: everything the game counts towards 100%, as the game defines it, with the same checklist behind it. Its shell is below. Until the game is out it holds nothing, because nothing can honestly be put in it yet, and it says when we last checked.
Nothing to tick yet. Last checked .
Nothing counts towards 100% yet. The game is not out, and on the date above neither Rockstar's product page nor Take-Two's pre-order announcement said a word about completion. The list opens once we have the game and can see what it counts, as it counts it.
How the list works
Each thing the game counts gets a box. What you tick is saved in this browser only, without an account; nothing is sent to us, and clearing this site's data clears the list.

What we will not do
We will not publish a location we have not stood on in the game. We will not carry a leaked list, a datamined count or a map traced from somebody else’s work. A collectible goes on this page when we have found it, with the date, and a set is marked complete only when every one of its items has been.
What we do not know
- Whether GTA 6 has collectibles at all.
- What they are, how many sets there are and how many items each set has.
- Whether the metal detector in the beach screenshot is a player activity, and if so what it finds.
- Whether any reward is tied to a set, and what counts towards full completion.
