Manatees

A sports team read off its own kit: MANATEES across the chest of a mint green mesh jersey, with the number 19 below it in white with pink piping, the 9 half behind the wearer's fist.

What the screenshot shows

A jersey in mint green, worn. MANATEES runs across the chest in white block capitals, and under it sits the squad number, much larger, in white with a pink outer line and a mint inner line: a 1 whose stem runs behind the wearer’s wrist and gold bracelet, and a 9 with its upper left behind the fist. Until 23 September 2026 this page had the name across the shoulders and its caption had the number starting with a 4; until 27 September the crop cut off the foot of both digits, and it now takes the whole number.

The fabric is a coarse open mesh. The fist is held in front of the shirt, with a heavy gold link bracelet at the wrist, a pale gold signet ring on one finger and tattoos on the back of the hand and along the forearm. Above the name hangs a rectangular gold pendant on a heavy rope chain, with a swirl on its face and a line of lettering at its foot that sits under this site’s letter floor. The whole frame shows the jersey on Dre’Quan Priest in the studio, with sleeves and the cut of an American football shirt rather than a basketball vest, which this page called it until 23 September 2026.

Nothing in this crop shows the team playing, a badge or a venue. What the lettering gives us is a name, a number and a colourway, and those are enough to recognise the kit again.

How to recognise it

Mint green mesh with white lettering and pink piping on the number
MANATEES in white block capitals across the chest
A large number 19 below the name, white with a pink outer line, the 9 partly behind a fist
A rectangular gold pendant on a rope chain above the name

The frame it comes from

The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the subject occupies 473 by 670 of it. Also in it: Only Raw Records and Dre'Quan Priest.

How this was measured

Source	Press pack
Frame	3840 × 2160
Crop	473 × 670 — a small part of the frame
Image check	27 September 2026 — crop checked against the frame
Text check	27 September 2026 — 22 claims read against the image, 5 corrected
Read at	the true pixel grid, 1:1

Lettering	Letter height	Contrast	Reads
MANATEES	64 px	—	every character
19	460 px	—	in part
the lettering at the foot of the gold pendant on the chain	—	—	no

These figures come from the dataset, not from the prose above. We measure everything and claim what counts. How we work

What we still do not know

What sport, and in which league; the cut in the full frame says American football, and nothing says more.
Whether the club banner at the Sahara Arena belongs to this team: the lettering there is the same family – heavy capitals with a light outline, white on turquoise – but shorter than Manatees and with orange trim where this kit is pink.
Whether there is a badge or a home venue anywhere in the official material.
