Logger Beer
A bottled beer read off its own label as far as the label turns: LOGG above and BEE below face the camera on a dark green ground, with a bearded lumberjack and an axe between them, on a bottle held at a table. Logger Beer is the completion.
What the screenshot shows
A brown long-neck bottle held around the body by one hand, its base on a pale table. The body label wraps around most of the body below the shoulder in dark green, and the brand on it faces the camera in two pieces: LOGG high on the label and BEE low on it, each cut where the label turns away round the glass. A smaller neck label repeats the start of both, LOG over BE, with only the edge of the next letter showing on each line. Nothing of the letters between them is in the frame, so Logger Beer is this page’s completion and not a reading; until 23 September 2026 the page gave the second line as -ER BEER and the name as read.
Between LOGG and BEE are the head and shoulders of a bearded lumberjack in a hat, with an axe blade at the left of his head and its handle running down behind him to the right, and a band of mountains crosses the top of the label above LOGG. There is no roundel round him and nothing checked about his shirt, both of which this page had until 23 September 2026. To his left is a small word, and along the bottom edge runs a line of small print; both sit under this site’s letter floor, so the page does not read them. The neck label has a tiny word of its own under the L.
Behind the bottle, out of focus, are warm light, a round lit sign on the wall and a hairy forearm reaching across. In the whole frame this is a bar: the hand round the bottle is Jason’s, the forearm reaching across behind it belongs to the friend in the bucket hat beside him, and a Patriot bottle stands further along the counter.
How to recognise it
- A dark green label round most of the body of a brown long-neck bottle
- LOGG above and BEE below facing the camera, the rest of the brand turned away
- A bearded lumberjack's head with an axe between them, under a band of mountains
- A neck label with LOG over BE
The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the subject occupies 556 by 1123 of it. Also in it: Brian's Boat Works & Marina and Jason Duval.
How this was measured
| Source | Press pack |
|---|---|
| Frame | 3840 × 2160 |
| Crop | 556 × 1123 — a small part of the frame |
| Image check | 27 September 2026 — crop checked against the frame |
| Text check | 27 September 2026 — 26 claims read against the image, 6 corrected |
| Read at | the true pixel grid, 1:1 |
| Lettering | Letter height | Contrast | Reads |
|---|---|---|---|
| LOGG | 70 px | — | in part |
| BEE | 67 px | — | in part |
| LOG | 60 px | — | in part |
| BE | 44 px | — | in part |
| the small word left of the lumberjack | 13 px | — | no |
| the line of small print along the bottom of the label | 7 px | — | no |
These figures come from the dataset, not from the prose above. We measure everything and claim what counts. How we work
What we still do not know
- The small word beside the lumberjack and the line of small print along the bottom; both sit under the floor.
- The letters between LOGG and BEE, which never face the camera.
- Where the bar is.
