Dark flatbed truck

A light truck with an open, slat-sided flatbed body, standing side-on in deep shadow while a four-star chase runs past it against the Vice City skyline.

This is a working truck, seen from the side. Behind the cab sits an open flatbed body with slatted side rails — horizontal boards with gaps between them, catching just enough light to count. The bed floor is flat and there is no cover over it.

The frame is dark. Most of the vehicle is in shadow and the colour cannot be read: it looks black here, but so would any dark paint in this light. What survives the shadow is the silhouette and the body type, and those are not in doubt.

It is standing at the edge of a scene with a four-star wanted level on screen and a shooter leaning out of a window, with the Vice City skyline behind.

How to recognise it

• Light-truck proportions rather than a semi-trailer

The frame it comes from

The frame is Extended Look at 14:00.07. It is 1920 by 1080, and the vehicle occupies 230 by 118 of it. Also in it: the Vice City skyline, a black Benefactor sport sedan, Bison 1800 (Police), and a shooter leaning out of a window.

What we still do not know

• The colour. It reads black, but every dark paint reads black in this light
• The name, and the manufacturer
• The front of the cab and the wheels, lost in the shadow
• Everything measured: top speed, acceleration, handling, price, where it spawns
