Turquoise classic

Name not confirmed

Rockstar has not named this vehicle

So we describe it by what is actually visible in the footage. We do not invent a name to fill the gap.

When the real name is confirmed, this page moves to that name and this address keeps working.

Trailer 2 · snt-00023 · 1:06.20 · placeholder frame · side · 345 × 162 px © Rockstar Games The frame at 1920 × 865, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. It is delivered inside a 1920 × 1080 container and we have trimmed the letterbox, which is packaging rather than picture. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A pale turquoise classic passing in the background of a Trailer 2 shot, cut off by the crop at the windscreen, with a rusted-out rear arch.

This car was never what the shot was about, and the crop shows it: 345 by 162 pixels of a vehicle passing behind the action, cut off at the windscreen pillar by the edge of the frame. What is in it is the front half of a pale turquoise car with a chrome window frame and a flat, slab-sided body.

The wheel arch behind the front wheel is rusted through, leaving a dark hole in the panel, and the paint around it has gone chalky. The wheel itself is dark with a pale centre.

The background beyond is a wide road with utility poles down one side and low vegetation behind, which places this outside the city rather than in it.

How to recognise it

  • Pale turquoise paint, chalked and worn
  • Chrome window frame, flat slab-sided body
  • Rust hole in the panel behind the front wheel
  • Dark wheel with a pale centre
  • Passing in the background of a wide road lined with utility poles

The frame it comes from

The frame is Trailer 2 at 1:06.20. It is 1920 by 1080, and the vehicle occupies 345 by 162 of it.

What we still do not know

  • The whole rear of the car, which is outside the crop
  • The name, and the manufacturer
  • Whether the rust is a damage state or part of the model
  • Everything measured: top speed, acceleration, handling, price, where it spawns
