Helicopters

Two helicopters have appeared in official GTA 6 material, and neither has a confirmed name yet. Both are below with the frame they came from.

One is a news helicopter from the press pack, whose real-world basis reads as an AgustaWestland AW109 or a Bell 222. The other is a police helicopter from the Extended Look at 15:43.27, in the same sequence as the Bison 1800 police truck and the police cruiser. That is the whole of it, and a page that pretended otherwise would be exactly the thin page this site is built to avoid.

Helicopters get their own hub rather than sharing one with planes because they are a different question. In GTA 5 a single helicopter — the Buzzard — is searched for more than every business jet in the game combined, and the questions that follow are about flying it and finding one, not about range.

No top speed yet. In-game instruments do not match measured performance, the handling data sits in files a console does not expose, and the PC version follows in 2027. GTA 6 launches 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. We measure on a PS5 from day one and publish within 72 hours.
