Press pack · snt-00118 · placeholder frame · side · 1068 × 160 px © Rockstar Games The whole frame at 3840 × 2160, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

A freight train crossing a steel truss bridge in the Mount Kalaga press screenshot, far enough away that we logged it as proof that rail exists rather than as a picture of a train.

There is no crop on this page and there is a reason for it. The train is in the background of the Mount Kalaga National Park press screenshot, running left to right across a steel through-truss railway bridge on concrete piers, mostly behind the ironwork. We measured it, found the result too small to stand as a gallery image, and kept the record as provenance instead.

What can be made out is rolling stock rather than a locomotive: a pale yellow-bodied car is visible through the truss, with darker cars behind it. No cab, no number, no livery detail. The bridge crosses a green river in a wooded valley, and in the foreground of the same screenshot a paddler in an orange kayak is passing a yellow flood gauge marked in feet.

The value of the record is the rail line itself. This frame is where the database learned that there is track in the world and something running on it.

How to recognise it

  • Rolling stock on a steel through-truss bridge with concrete piers
  • One pale yellow car visible through the ironwork, darker cars behind
  • No locomotive, number or livery legible
  • Mount Kalaga National Park, the same still as the kayak and the flood gauge

The frame it comes from

The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 1068 by 160 of it. Also in it: Mount Kalaga National Park and Crest Kayak.

What we still do not know

  • The locomotive. It is not in this frame.
  • How much of the map the line covers, and whether it is rideable
  • Whether passenger rail exists alongside freight
  • Everything measured: speed, length, route

A note on this record

The name comes from the published GTA 6 vehicle lists rather than from anything legible in our own material.
