Diamond Dawgs

A jewellery shop on a Vice City corner, named on its own fascia, and robbed four seconds before the camera reads the sign.

The fascia runs along a cream single-storey building on a corner, in evening sun. It reads DIAMOND DAWGS in dark serif capitals, with QUALITY JEWELS AND WATCHES beneath it in a smaller line.

The shopfront below is glazed with a recessed entrance, and the neighbouring units on the same block carry their own signs — EYE & DRY with a pair of spectacles, and HOBBS MILL across the street.

The sign is read from the saddle of a motorcycle pulling away from the kerb. Four seconds earlier the camera was inside a jewellery shop during a robbery, which is why the two are recorded as the same place.
