Extended Look · snt-00100 · 15:49.90 · placeholder frame · rear · 499 × 453 px © Rockstar Games The whole frame at 1920 × 1080, scaled down to fit — never enlarged. The box marks the crop exactly as we measured it, and that crop is the detail alongside, at its true size.

SCHAFTER in raised chrome on the boot lid and the maker's diamond badge beside it: a name read off the car rather than looked up.

The car is a dark saloon photographed square from behind in dappled light, and the two things that matter are both on the boot lid. SCHAFTER sits on the left in raised chrome capitals. In the centre is the maker's badge: a diamond outline with two letters inside it, the same emblem that sits on the grille of the black sport sedan filmed two minutes earlier in the same Extended Look.

Below the badge hangs a pale plate with dark characters, reading B17 before a small orange emblem and 9Q4 after it. The tail lamps are wide horizontal units with clear strips set into the red, there is a modest lip on the trailing edge of the boot, and a pair of exhaust outlets shows under the rear valance.

The car is parked on the ramp of an underground car park, with a sign for Rockwood Estates in the same frame. Sunlight is coming through trees and breaking across the roof and rear screen in patches.

How to recognise it

  • SCHAFTER in raised chrome capitals on the left of the boot lid
  • Diamond badge with two letters inside, centred on the boot
  • Plate reading B17, an orange emblem, then 9Q4
  • Wide horizontal tail lamps with clear strips set into the red
  • Lip on the trailing edge of the boot, twin exhaust outlets below

The frame it comes from

The frame is Extended Look at 15:49.90. It is 1920 by 1080, and the vehicle occupies 499 by 453 of it. Also in it: Rockwood Estates and an underground car park ramp.

What we still do not know

  • Which Schafter this is. The name is on the car; a trim or a variant is not.
  • The character on the plate hidden behind the emblem
  • Whether this and the black sport sedan are the same model
  • Everything measured: top speed, acceleration, handling, price, where it spawns
