Weapons
Submachine gun
A compact submachine gun with a vertical foregrip and a folding stock, carried during the vault sequence by a masked Jason.
The weapon is short — noticeably shorter than the AR-pattern carbines elsewhere in the material — with a boxy receiver, a vertical foregrip under the barrel and a stock folded or collapsed against the side. A magazine runs down through the grip area rather than forward of it.
It is held low in a gloved hand, and banknotes are in the air around it. The frame is the inside of a bank vault, which is the same sequence that produces one of the Jason and Lucia press images.
The silhouette is a compact SMG in the MP5K or Uzi family. Which one, at this resolution and this angle, is not determinable, and guessing it would be exactly the kind of invention this database avoids.
How to recognise it
- Noticeably shorter than the AR-pattern rifles elsewhere
- Vertical foregrip under the barrel
- Folded or collapsed stock against the side
- Carried in a vault, masked, with cash in the air
The frame it comes from
The frame is a still from the official Press pack, which carries no timecode. It is 3840 by 2160, and the vehicle occupies 845 by 821 of it. Also in it: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
What we still do not know
- Which pattern it is — the silhouette is compact SMG, no further
- Its in-game name
- Whether it is mission-issued for the heist or a weapon you keep
- Its rate of fire and capacity
